Medicine Ball
Here we have a skinny guy with a medicine ball in what may be a snapshot.
It’s interesting to think of snap shots from that era with their technology. But it’s hard to think of this shot as anything other than that with the person walking up from behind the subject/model holding the ball. Quite curious. If the other person was cropped out it might change the photo completely. I like it.
I agree with Big Dude, there are hints of a female breast on the cropped image. About the malnourished look of the young man, that was one of the reasons of the German early 20th century FKK movement. The working class living conditions at the big cities were terrible (check the first seasons of the German TV serial "Babylon Berlin" to see how things were) and doing things as doing exercise and taking fresh air naked or growing things at the garden allotments, which are still going strong in Berlin and other cities, were meant to improve the people diet and health. So the early XX's century FKK movement was not -mainly- presented as a sexual liberation movement, but part of a "back to a healthier preindustrial era" tendency. Of course Germany in the 1920's was sexually a VERY liberated place.
