I have no firm photographer attribution for this dramatically lighted photo of Vic,
but it has all the hallmarks of Douglas of Detroit.
Surely one the greatest male nude photographs. Vic's powerful yet elegant and proportionate physique perfectly displayed. That statue like torso running down to a natural bush, full penis and magnificent low hangers make for a near perfect depiction of the masculine form.
This page – the photo and the comments below it – encapsulates exactly why I like Vintage Muscle Men more than any other blog.
As a student of gay history, and especially vintage physique photography, I always enjoy the contributions from 2fourneausm, James IV and others more knowledgeable than me.
As an amateur writer I also enjoy the writing of others, especially “Unknown” above who articulates his thoughts (and mine) so effectively and without the coarse language so often found on similar blogs.
Celui qui a compose cette photo a mes en valeur les abdominaux , les phallus et scrotum et les cuisses de Monsieur Seipke avec l'eclairage. Image memorable.
No Jerry , I have seen this impressive photo on various blogs but never with a photographer's name , more the pity , Jean .

ReplyDeleteYes, and I need to add a "low hanger" tag to this post.
DeleteDouglas's photos of Vic are some of my favorite.
