Guest Series by Larry K. - Wine Making from the Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée

What makes French wine so good?  We’re about to see one of the secrets.  In 1950, two workers climb onto what looks like a vat of grapes at the winery of Monsieur Auguste Hudelot in France’s Burgundy region.

Editor's note:  Today we get the skinny on French wine making from Larry K.

  1. This technique is now rather obsolite , exept for the top of the top , like Château d'yquem , I bought a 1990 crate and the good news is that it will become a legend like the 1921 or the 1816 (which is still improving !!!!) . Thebad n news is that the wine will reaxh maturity only within 50 or 75 years !
