Andy Kozak
I somehow neglected to post this Kovert photo of Andy Kozak in past series.
Andy is one of my favourites. He's well-oiled, but that does not detract from his good looks and great body. And there's that shadow on his left thigh. Was Kovert big on oiling his males?
Andy Kozak is in Tony Sansone's league of nude models. No matter who photograph them, they always look great. I know he was an artist, but I wonder what happened to him.
I agree completely in placing Mr. Kozak in the very top tier of models. He is best known for water colors of wildlife, although he certainly did more that just that, including a few male nudes. I did a quick search of the Social Security death indexes, and he is not there. If that is correct, Andy Kozak is still living at age 96. At one point in his life, I think he had a home built in California that was featured in an architectural magazine, something that would be in keeping with his artistic nature.

ReplyDeleteYes, Fred Kovert's studio used a lot of oil.
DeleteFor me the oiling works well. I assume the lighting was softened to give it a silky feel. Those abdominals are magnificent.
DeleteJerry, this is a very nice posting. Thank you very much.
