I've never been able to figure out how Eddie has so many full frontal WPG nude photos in an era when Don was fastidious about all his models wearing posing straps. I've seen a few frontal nudes of Billy Joe Carr, but you've explained them as being photoshopped frauds. Any ideas on how Eddie was an obvious exception?
This photo is from the "At Home" series of domestic scenes Mr. Whitman did with a number of models. As such, it would have been legal at the time. Eddie was a competitive bodybuilder whose modeling career spanned the years when frontal became legal.
