Pinup pose
Bruce Schorb shows us a nice smile in this pose that was often used for pinup girls 1940-1960.
My oldest sister was posed that way for her FFA Sweetheart photo in her high school yearbook.
Yet another gorgeous shot. A nice twist on the Flandrin pose. Placing the foot off the end of the platform beings this to life. As if he will spring up. Certainly achieving both sweet,almost boyish yet very masculine. Interesting to note Schorb's leg position obscures his genitals. I wonder if they tried both with and without?
Yup. A nearly nude then, suitable for wider publication. Yet still affording us a great view of most of his fine body. Depending on the "hang" on the day, showing the genitals can look awkward, spoiling the line of the legs. Personally, when attempting this I go with legs closed. As usual, one for me to try.
