Playgirl Men and the Water

Today we look at some 1970's Playgirl models in and around the water.
We start with Lou Zivkovich, a guy I never get tired of looking at.

  1. Nice shadow play I this shot. I agree, it's timeless. I like the fact that MEN didn't shave their groins...natural look is best.

    1. Mr. Zivkovich made a fine model, and by all accounts is a nice guy, too.

  2. Thank you Jerry. A new Playgirl feature is always welcome. As I have said before on this blog, it was men like these that first caught my eye when discovering my sexuality as a teenager in the mid to late 1970s, first in my father’s hetero porn magazines and then in Playgirl when I was able to buy it myself from local newsagents.

  3. An early, and still a favourite of mine.

  4. Wasn't he the P.E. teacher who was fired from his job in California? I believe he played football at Miami University as a "tight end". He also played pro ball in Canada before teaching school. The school district fired him for that nude centerfold, which he sued the district and won. Great 70's story if that's him.

    1. Yes, that's him, and he did indeed sue the school district and win.

  5. Thank you for another "Playgirl" series. Heavens above! What a man Lou Zivkovich is. I remember hearing his story, probably about 20 years after it happened. I assumed and still do that the men at his school and at the school board were behind the firing simply out of jealousy.

  6. I actually still own this issue of PG. RIt has a really interesting article about bisexuality. The earlier 70's edition of the magazine did have quite a few articles of a higher caliber than later in its run.

    1. Some of those 70s editions are fetching hefty prices on eBay.
