Most of Jean Ferrero's models names are known, but I don't have one for this fine looking young man. If anyone knows who he is and/or has more photos of him, please let me know.
I'm not sure about the timing of the posing straps. The authorities in France were more liberal, but he may have been planning to market them in the USA and UK. Also, Ferrero did publish in bodybuilding magazines.
I do not see any strings holding the pouch! (unless is taped to the body...) The whole photo color set is 11006 colors in yellow and dark grey colors and the pouch is of a blue gray color. also the right hand shadow is dark grey and homogeneous and the pouch shadow is lighter and with a darkness gradation. Cloud it be that the pouch is painted?
Another thing: if you open the photo in another tab, the photo ID (in French) is: Jean FERRERO (Né 1931)Nu.jpg in English: Jean FERRERO (born 1931) Nude.jpg Why a photo named Nude should have a pouch? A man with a pouch in not nude!
Did Ferrero star out having his models in straps? The male seems young, and I wondered if he might have been along early in Ferrero's career.

ReplyDeleteThanks!
Deletealso known as -Eric Bert
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who suspects this posing strap/pouch was added after the shot was taken?
ReplyDeleteGood point. That was commonly done, and in this case, I can't see anything holding the thing up.

You make a number of good points. I'm now pretty sure the pouch was painted on after the fact.
DeleteThanks!
DeleteIt is a pleasure to comment and help.
I have him named as Eric Bert as well.
