Ripples in a stream
The way the ripples of Mr. Bennett's muscles match those of the water is amazing.
Artistic physique photography doesn't get much better than this, folks.
Danny Fitzgerald, his photos are so artistic, I wonder if he ever met or corresponded with Al Urban, Lon Hanagan or Gebbe, the lions of physique photography in New York. In this photo you can almost hear the water babbling by. I also wonder if I may be related to him, after all my dad's grandfather was a Fitzgerald whose parents hailed from Cork, Ireland. The Fitzgeralds are proliferate. My grandmother was quite proud of her father and being a Fitzgerald, especially when JFK became president and whose mother Rose was a Fitzgerald. My grandmother viewed JFK as if he were family, JFK's death was quite a blow for her, as if losing an accomplished son. Granpa Fitzgerald never got to see JFK as president, he died in 59, but he did see him on TV in 58 and told the family JFK was going to be the next President of the United States. That youngster has it in him, as granpa Fitzgerald said. - Rj/IE
Mr. Fitzgerald was generation farther on than Lon and Al Urban, both in time and in style and sophistication. They were pioneers. He took it to an unparalleled artistic level.
