Remington Ad
Although most of J.C. Leyendecker's advertising work related to men's fashion, this painting was apparently done for Remington Firearms. Still, we get a very well dressed and groomed hunter.
This was what would be called the 'gentleman' hunter. This was in contrast to us people who lived in the rural areas. The ad was probably aimed at those fellows who were more into hunting as a refined sporting event.
