Doug Juleff, better known as Douglas of Detroit, was best known for his masterful studio work with exception lighting and occasional special effects. He was quite capable outdoors, though, and today we will look at some of that work, starting with the only unknown in the series.
Ah, my favourite Shadow on his left thigh. That's the icing on the beefcake for this old perv.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this one is nice.
DeleteMy favorite photo from today's posts. Let's hope someone gives us a name.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Theft in profress. 😋
No problem. I'll be looking for him on MFBT.
Deletetotally asymmetrical balls...
ReplyDeleteWhat we can see through all that bush, anyway.
DeleteAnd outdoors, no less!
ReplyDeleteBy the time it became legal for Doug Juleff to fully accomplish his art, ten years had passed, and life had moved on. He never went back to it, despite offers of support and encouragement. I believe he turned up at a retrospective show of his work in the early 90s and was amazed at the level of interest.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice to hear. He was an important part of our history, I hope he knew that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting, lighting and model.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a man. Beautifully photographed and wonderfully naturalistic. A built, yet not strictly a bodybuilder's physique. Amazing full bush, and what looks like a rollback?
ReplyDeleteRight. So exceptional, and the only one in the set unidentified.
