Today I'm posting 11 pictures that ended up in a variety of uncategorized file folders.
We start with one that I used Google to find out is Polish actor Maciej Karas.
He was born in 1931, so this would have been made in Communist times.
How a photo as interesting as that ended up in the strays, I don't know,.

ReplyDeleteThe Commies were as prudish as today's Americans. This must have been done clandestinely. Nice-looking male, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteVery nice, and I agree that he would have kept it from the authorities. I visited Poland shortly after the communists and Russians got kicked out, and people described many episodes of clandestine artistic resistance.

Western influences, tourism and trade brought about the fall of the Iron Curtain.
Eastern Europeans did not live on the moon….:)
I would guess him to be in his early 30s so this picture would have been take in the early to mid 60s.
