Exceptional
The lighting, composition, and a great model combine to make a fine photo here.
I was thinking that also. There was a photographer of more recent times who's photos were an homage to past beefcake. I cannot think of his name though.
Kodachrome saturation ! Reds and blues were always chosen because they registered very well in color, same with Technicolor. Studio set designers would have fits when color specialists from Technicolor would demand changes in use and choices of color. Sometimes whole sets would have to be repainted to get proper color register. Rex in DC
