Pat Parris
Our final donation from Bryan B's Kovert of Hollywood
collection is Pat Parris, sometimes spelled Paris.
Many thanks yet again to Bryan B for his generosity!
Thank you Bryan, for an excellent start to my day. Kovert seems to have had a thing for low hangers, big peters, and oil. Still, the males are magnificent. Thank you for sharing.
There are some photos I love, some I don't. I'm looking for photos like this one for my 'Satyr' collection (men with only hair on their lower bodies, up to their belly button at the most).
Albert, your request made me remember a guy I went to the gym with over 40 years ago. He had the lower body hairiness you're seeking; his abdomen was fairly hairy but he had little hair above the midriff, and it was not shaved, just his natural pattern. That was in the pre-cell phone era, so sorry, no pix-Dee Exx
Ko’Vert (1895-1949) got his start in vaudeville and was famous for his peacock costume. Was in a series of silent films before starting a physique photo studio and pretty much directing photographers who worked for him. Sadly police raids and mental illness took their toll on Ko’Vert and he committed suicide. No room for a pretty peacock in a miserable world….:( Good series, thank you and Bryan….:)

ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting project. When I get home, I will check my files and send you some Satyr type photos.
DeleteThanks Jerry

ReplyDeleteI want to find photos of "satyrs" for a file I would like to put together.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of photos that may fit your "satyr" file. How do I get them to you?
DeleteIt would be nice if you could send them by email to: albert.sottiaux2@gmail.com
