Raul Pacheco
Ending the Lon series with a "new" shot of one of his favorite models, Raul Pacheco.
Pacheco was one of Lon’s closest friends and at one time lived with Lon. Lon is part of the gilding of the golden age of physique photography. Lon started with a Kodak box camera when he was a Boy Scout, and later learned physique photography techniques from Gebbé/Robert Gebhart another legend….:)

He certainly had terrific taste in models! Pacheco, and Lon's camp counselor , were both stunning!
DeleteIt's a great shot of him, most photos I have of him are with no backdrop or next to no props. Enjoyable set Jerry.
ReplyDeleteThe camp counselor should rank in the top five of Lon's models. It's a pity that he didn't look him up and photograph him in the studio later.
DeleteI wonder if he did at some point, and the gentleman politely declined the invitation to pose again.
