This photo from a Paris atelier is dated 1920, but I have no further information.  
I'm curious about the model's long hair.  A wig, perhaps?

  1. Paris, in those days, some of the "artisans" would grow their hair and dress up as women....

    1. Yes, but they would have take more care about the rather ratty appearance of the hair in this photo.

  2. It looks a bit like a Louis 15th disheveled wig , not clear but it seems there is some knot at the end of the wig ?

    1. There's also a knot around the model's ankle, which adds a possible bondage or S/M element. The more I look at this photo, the more interesting it becomes.
