I like the model's fixed gaze for some reason.
Also, he is the first of two models today with an imaginary rope in his hands.

  1. Doug Juleff's models always seemed a cut above most of the other physique photographers. It was obvious that they all went to a gym, and they had impeccable grooming. They all seemed to have a confidence and pride in their poses. I can usually recognize a Douglas of Detroit photo easily because of the artistry involved. This model looks a lot like the men I grew up with, although I'm sure they didn't have the physiques of his models, but they sure did have the perfectly groomed hair. And most guys look Similar in build with their clothes on.

    1. You are absolutely correct about both Doug Juleff's good taste in models and his artistry. He stuck with the true physique concept even when other male nude photographers had started featuring "cute" guys with rather ordinary bodies.
