I've always been quite fond of this handsome fellow sleeping au naturel.
Some of these men seem very pale. Did they use any body make up, or were they natually palr due to lavk of being in the sun? This man is a prime example of that. I know "getting a suntan" did not become popular until post WWII.
I find this gentleman very appealing as well. Interesting physique: he has a thin, one could almost say "scrawny", torso, but then the hips widen out--you can tell he probably has a generously-endowed caboose--and of course there's those meaty thighs. Something for everyone.

ReplyDeleteI think it was a combination of staying out of the sun and the blanching effect of early flash photography that also made body hair less evident.

ReplyDeleteYes, he's not the type one automatically thinks of as super good looking, but like you say, he's quite appealing on several levels.
