Leonard, not Larry
Leonard looks a little bit like Larry Carr in this Kovert photo, and I have
to confess to having once mislabeled a picture of Larry as Leonard.
Looks bald on both sides. I have noticed this in other models of the posing strap era. I suspect it was done so nothing untoward was peeking out from under the posing strap. But the part that would be safely hidden was left thick and natural. Today, they just shave it all, and look horribly prepubescent.
Ah, those delts. Splendid. Looks like his groin was manscaped, which seems unusual for that era. Did Kovert promote shaving his models' groins?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about manscaping, but this is my least favorite photo of the series.
DeleteDoesn't look like manscaping as we know it today (a dreadful fad, by the way). He seems just strangely bald on his left side.
DeleteI noticed that, too, Jim.

ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of that. A lot of them just let it poke out of the strap.
