Vic and friend
A rather young looking Vic Seipke (at right) poses with an unknown model here.
Mr. Seipke was one of Douglas of Detroits more prolific models, and like Bob Delmonteque,
he was known to have worked for some of the West Coast photographers.
It always a treat to see the magnificent Vic Seipke and he looks just as impressive in his younger days (and I must admit I prefer this hairstyle to the pompadour). The unknown model is magnificent too and is definitely not overshadowed by Mr. Seipke ... which is no mean feat.
I somehow managed to post not one, but two pictures of Mr. Seipke without his signature hairdo. And you're quite correct about the model he's paired with here. Very easy on the eyes.
Vic Seipke seems to have done a series of images with this model - I have some - but I have never been able to identify him, his identity sadly lost now in the mists of time.
I like this picture too, i can feel their confidence. They're still teenagers here right? But they already got nice muscled body. This is good inspiration for youngsters to be fit and healthy, they got nice hairy tools too
In almost of of Seipke's pictures, it is his neck that stands out to me. A strong and sturdy column, his neck connects his beautiful body to his handsome head in the most impressive way and unifying way.
Ces deux modeles sont exceptionnells, poses comme sous les tropiques. Monsieur Juleff avait un tel don pour une approche artistique des hommes. L'eclairage est excellent.
Thank you all for the information. I have another pose from this photo shoot with the palms and Vic but I could not identify Jim Park. This blog is a very valuable resource. Thank you.
You're quite welcome. Always check all the comments because sometimes the information I orgianally post is either corrected or updated by viewers. I have been wrong on model IDs lots of times.

ReplyDeleteYes, I have a few others myself, an no hint of an ID.
DeleteI never saw a Seipke shot I did not like. A his posing partner is no disappointment, either! What a great photo! Thanks, Jerry.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, B.D.!
DeleteThe model with Vic Seipke is JIM PARK. JIM was in the NAVY and he also posed for Clifford Oettinger.

I don't know if they were in their teens, but they couldn't be too far into their twenties.
