Borck
It was 1959 or '60 when photographer Frank Borck of Can-Art Studio of Toronto took this.
It features John Ingle (a.k.a. John Engelhardt) in the foreground and an unknown, at least to me.
Ingle looks a tad more mature than some of these guys, and seems to be relaxed and confident.
ReplyDeleteYes, on both points.
DeleteI won't guarantee it but, from somewhere, I got the other man's name as Vern Houston.
ReplyDeleteI came here just to say the same thing. I have three photos of him posed with John Ingle with the 1959 registered Karmann Ghia.
DeleteWonderful intimate, candid shot. Caught in that natural pose. Love it.
ReplyDeleteReally like this show. It is so intimate and natural. And love how one is so comfortable looking in the camera.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
