An anonymous viewer sent me this Dave Martin photo of Carl Wadlow, and a Google Images search confirmed that it is him and by Dave Martin. Frequent commentator and contributor Cambria was the source for the attribution, and I am confident that it is correct.
The lighting, shadows, pose, tan lines, and even the oil job comes together nicely, don't you think?

DeleteDave Martin should have did adds for Ansco’s photographic film as he used their film himself. Of course the physique models would have to be dressed in shorts at least….:)
ReplyDeleteMr. Martin did do a few photographs that could have been published as ads, but his association with nude photography might have made them unpalatable to the manufacturer.
