Constantine Stelanov
This handsome discus holder is Constantine Stelanov.
Adonis de Saint- Pétersbourg 1890-1914 l'age d'or de la culture physique en Russie. Stelanov may have been a member of the St Petersburg Athletic and Cycling Club founded by Vladislav Krajewski, the personal physician of the Tsar, with training devised and overseen by Guido Meyer, Emil Voss, Wladislaw Pyatlanski and Charles Ernst. Hackenschmidt and Lurich were among their students.
