The Carracci family produced four significant artists in 16th and early 17th Century Italy. Brothers Annibale and Agostino, along with their cousin Ludovico, were highly successful and influential Baroque artists. Later, Agostino's son Antonio joined the family business. Today I am featuring the work of Annibale, starting with River God, a work that show his ability to depict men's muscles.
