Bob Bishop
At first I doubted that my source was correct about this being Bob Bishop.
Some reseach showed, however, that Mr. Lynes photographed him on at least
two occasions, before and after World War II. This is the prewar Bob.
Oui, étrange. Maybe GPL désired a dream like qualité. Excellent use of light. The tragédie of GPL, his photo art of the male nude had to be hidden away and never displayed in public. Only in death and the passage of time is GPL respected. That new found respect may soon be destroyed by the forces réactionnaires of today.
