Steve Rally is one of the rare Playgirl models who went on to have some success in movies and TV.
He appeared no less than three times in the magazine between 1983 and 1985, with the above photo being one of the early ones. Years later he played a cowboy, below.
Steve was also one of the first to pose standing with a full mast erection. Before that erections were often “disguised” by laying across the guy’s belly while he posed on his back.

You were lucky in more ways than one. In a lot of small Southern towns they wouldn't have sold Playgirl at all back then.
DeleteActually there had been a period in 1980 with lots of erections, but there must have been complaints, as they generally disappeared within that year. Mr. Rally was indeed one of the first to reignite that trend, continued quuite liberally through 1985

ReplyDeleteI saw a film at a gay film festival where he plays an aerobics instructor and minor character in the main story (which is a typical coming-out story, I think). He has QUITE a nelly voice compared to his look.
