Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo

Here we see Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo winding up to throw the discus.  Although he was a highly regarded Spanish athlete, he never placed at the Olympic or World Championship levels.  He did go on to a very successful career as a TV journalist specializing in "brushfire" wars, having been 

sentenced in absentia to death for filming the illegal execution of 300 Congolese rebels.
