Interesting pose
This is one of the more interesting poses we are likely to see in an academic drawing.
I hope our resident life model David will give us his professional take on it.
Certainly an odd one. He seems to float. A killer pose. Is the left hand just holding a knob? Or was there an undrawn hanging support? That right foot...support obsucred the view? Yet drawn in anyway?
