Seated
This fellow looks like he's sitting on the edge of a concrete sluice channel.
His name is Albert Bean. He is described as sitting in a tropical stream, "attempting to shave," in this WWII photo posted by his daughter Betty Bean. Daughter Betty is semi-retired, and writes an occasional opinion column for KnoxTNToday.com.
