Younger?
Is it just me, or does Mr. Sandow look younger in this photo than many?
He does seem to be a much younger and slightly lighter build man? So beautiful. On zooming in, along the fold of the leaf, I think I can see the wire holding on the fig leaf.

ReplyDeleteiirc, his bio said he was 19 in this photo, before his fame skyrocketed.
ReplyDeleteYet they had "Sandow" written on the pedestal. Could the lettering have been added later when he bacame famous?
