Historic?
My source said that our final photo of a hippie on a beach was historic without giving any provenance whatsoever. The hippie is quite well built and good looking, historic or otherwise.
Ah, the 60s...I was in college, smoked my share of weed, but never got to attend a big outdoor festival where going naked was "the norm." So my bareass self just swam at the Y and in my college swim class and "men's hours" at the pool. Of course, I didn't mind seeing all those other guys' gear swinging free.
I did make it to a few outdoor festivals, but didn't see much male nudity, mostly topless females. We did swim naked at Lake Travis nearly every weekend in the warm part of the year, and that's where the men took it all off. Happy times.
Great post! Here's to the Hippies that gave us so much. I only wish that their culture was not more enduring.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the set, vv.

DeleteAt least you got to swim naked! That was before my time ( I was a toddler in the late '60s).
DeleteI was born in 1983. I only know about skinny dipping because I grew up in the country.
