Mixed Military Madness
Today we look at a wide range of activities done by nude military men.
We start with a WWII American photo that I think was made on New Guinea.
And NOW? We're enduring a very conservative era in the US that won't end until '28. Just wondering if ANY soldier can do this, even in the desert, to cool off.
Well, there are some fairly recent photos of soldiers (mainly in the desert) fooling around nude. If there is a remnant of better days, perhaps there is hope for the future.
A refreshing dip for these men, as New Guinea is hot and humid as all hell. Had a relation serve in New Guinea during WW2. They were told to be very careful swimming in lakes and rivers as they are home to crocodiles and venomous snakes, and to never drink the water because of nasty water borne parasites. This was offset by the remarkable beauty of the island, gorgeous sunsets, the sight of snow on its peaks, the colorful birds and butterflies and cute marsupials of all kinds. Today New Guinea has a very corrupt government and Port Moresby has one of the worst violent crime rates in the world. The Raskol street gangs of New Guinea are particularly notorious. A paradise lost :(
