Red
I'm posting this guy because he's handsome and reminds me of someone dear to me. I found
him on a website about how cool current youths' fathers and grandfathers could be.
Hippie surfer in Hawaii. Have a relative who served in Vietnam. When he went in he was a clean cut California surfer and gung-ho. When he came back he went full hippie and anti-war, and moved to Hawaii. Now almost 80 he can’t believe how anyone supports a bone spurred, draft dodging president who calls all veterans suckers and losers and degrades the country in the worst ways….:(
Scotland has more redheads per capita than any other country, and thanks to an invitation by King Kamehameha around 1800, many Scots settled in Hawaii. We have Scottish festivals here, and we are one of the largest ethinc groups.
The people of Europe with the highest percentage of red hair are the Udmurt people near Kazan in Russia. It is believed the gene for red hair may have originated with them. The area where they lived was attacked by the Vikings who made off with many of their women, and thus spread the gene for red hair to Scandinavia and the British Isles.
