I like the setting and the male. But IMHO, the sword seems out of place with the setting.
I agree about the sword. Maybe Mr. Marting wanted a reason for the model to extend his right arm?
Oh, I don’t know, I’m sure he’s a grower and his short sword becomes a strong saber… Oh, wait… You’re talking about the sword in his hand…
