Familiar
Ending the set with a fellow who looks like a 1950s TV actor who played bit parts as very ordinary fathers and/or office workers. I can't for the life of me remember his name, though.
I can't say I recognize him, but I thank you for a great posting, Jerry. It's nice to see regular guys strutting their stuff. Men who aren't beyond reach.
He looks like Richard Deacon, who played Mel Cooley on The Dick Van Dyke Show, plus hundreds of other shows from Leave It To Beaver to The Mothers-in-Law, usually as a stuffy, self-important authority figure. He was a renowned chef & also hosted a cooking show in Canada. In IMDB's usual euphemism for gay, "he never married."

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. There's a lot to be said for the attainable.

ReplyDeleteThat's him, thank you!
DeleteRichard Deacon also played Annette Funicello’s uncle Archie in 1957 on the Mickey Mouse Club. I used to swoon over Tim Considine.
