Ode an die Freude - die Freude am FKK :) Fotografische Abzüge von Riebicke sind selten, da sein fotografisches Archiv während eines Luftangriffs im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört wurde.
I admire his work being a lover of the outdoors, I find it graceful and poetic for it's simplicity and innocence. Art, physical education and nude culture being the objective. Still important. Thanks Jerry.
What a gorgeous action shot of a beautiful, lean man! Also, the first comment above, in German, says Riebicke's photo archive was destroyed in a WW II bombing. Is that correct?
Yes, it's true. Fortunately, German archivists managed to cobble together a collectlion from magazine files and other sources. Still, too much was lost.
