  1. Awesome photo and theme for the day. The hidden gems! Jack Cole is considered the father of American jazz dance, merging classic Indian styles (famous “jazz hands”) he studied with Ted Shawn, a father of Modern dance, with popular Latin and African movement, the foundation of musical theatre and film emerging in Hollywood movies and Broadway. Was Marilyn Monroe’s movement coach in Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend choreographed The King and I among many others.💕💕bns

  2. Beautiful and sublime. Jack was the resident choreographer at 20th Century Fox and an amazing dancer himself.
