Terry Robinson
We get a peekaboo in this photo of Terry Robinson.
Robinson led quite a life. An athletic youth he participated in baseball, football, swimming, and field & track in high school. After hs he won the NY Police League Golden Gloves in boxing, became a chiropractor, and personal trainer in NY to entertainment personalities like Cole Porter and Lorenz Hart. During ww2 Robinson was a USArmy staff sergeant serving in the So. Pacific training men in physical fitness, hand to hand combat and coordinating rehabilitation programs for wounded soldiers. After the war, he was Mr NYC 1948 and moved to So. California where he became a physical trainer for the top stars of MGM studios. (Among them Clark Gable, Tyrone Power and Mario Lanza.) When Lanza and his wife died within months of each other, Robinson adopted their four orphaned children. Robinson went on to own several very successful gyms. Gryf
