Paul Richer was a versatile artist, but he is probably best known for his front, rear, and side view photosof early 20th Century athletes. Those photos showcase some fine looking men, but the triple view format can get a bit tedious. Today we will look at images where the men are in a variety of positions, some with props. I'm beginning to figure out Mr. Richer's photo enumeration system as I just discovered that all of this type of picture are numbered between 11450 and 11590.
Needless to say, these are just a small fraction of them. We start with a man lifting
a sack of something, and he will appear again later today.
