Bodybuilder

This was left over from a bodybuilder set.

Miss Magnolia Thunderpussy's Lawn Man

Someone sent this one in to Ipernity saying it was Miss Magnolia Thunderpussy's yard man.

For once, she had nothing caustic to say and purred approvingly. Rare, that. FWIW, the

contributor never said what it really was. Probably a nudist groundskeeper.

Mysterious

There's something mysterious about this one.

This guy is lighting up in a room full of antiques.

No idea

I have no idea where I got this or what's going on,

but he seems to be wearing some 1970s hiking boots.

Fourth of July Skin Art - Old Glory in Tattoos

Every now and then I go off the rails and out the window thematically, and this time it's

for the Fourth of July. We will look at ten men who showed their patriotic fervor by

getting the American Flag tattooed on their bodies. We start with F.P. "Frenchie" Plourde,

a sailor who got his work done by Percy Waters of Detroit. The date is given as 1921,

but it probably took longer than a single year to complete all that.

Sailor

I can't figure out why the photographer posed this sailor with his

tattoos party obscured. Aren't they the whole point of the picture?

Mustache

The mustache is almost Hitler style, but I find the man attractive.

The tattoos are literally and figuratively all over the place.

Six Flags

I call this one "Six Flags," and I don't mean the theme park.

He has two on his chest, two on his upper belly, and two on one arm.

The cap looks like a post World War I era army issue, and the lizards and wildcat are interesting. There's also a couple of women, some flowers, and a butterfly. Below, we see the whole show with octopi on the knees, more women, and at least one more reptile. There are quite a few things I can't identify, so feel free to add your own observations in the comments.

All the way to the neck

With the fancy pants and tattoos all the way to his neck,

I'm thinking this guy was a carnival performer.

Work in Progress

We have to presume that this guy is a sailor of some sort with an almost finished

patriotic tattoo. Those bluebirds are not only a nautical good luck symbol.

They also indicate that he has sailed over 20,000 nautical miles, 10,000 for

each bird. He seems to have tape on his right arm. I wonder why?

Navy Man

This handsome World War II era sailor has a very

clear and detailed patriotic display on his chest.

Old Glory plus 1917 Allies

I find this fellows ink to be interesting because, while he has two U.S. flags and an eagle top and center, he also has what appear to be the flags of our 1917 Allies, the British, French, and Italians.

Too bad they only hand colored his eyes and lips. I'd love to see the rest in color.
