I saw one one of these 70's Volkswagen camper vans for sale here in Hawaii recently.
It was a rust bucket, but it brought back some nice memories.
I remember camping in Hawaii with the ubiquitous VW van. Underpowered and slow goin' up hill, but fun as hell. Sharing it with two friend's and splitting expenses. Finding isolated spots and going au naturel. Ke hele nei e pili ana i ke 'ano VW.......:)
