Jukebox
I wish I knew the name of the model who posed with a classic jukebox.
GPL liked his toys !
ReplyDeleteWurlitzer P-500 of 1938-39,
16,500 were produced….:)
Way before my time! What is it? A jukebox?
DeleteI don't know if that unit was Lynes' or from some location photo shoot.
DeleteI used to love the ones that were right on the table in restaurants.

I remember sitting in a booth at a diner in Fort Worth in 1965 and playing every Beatles song on the machine over and over at five cents a go.
DeleteYep, those were the days.
DeleteGreat shot. Was it taken in GPL's home? Of course the cockshadow enhances it for me.
ReplyDeleteNice looking man. I do not find any other images in my sources that have the Wurlitzer or a man with that particular tattoo.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a one-off.
