Unknown
Both the model and the photographer in this one are unknown, to me anyway.
Persée et la Gorgone. He had to confront Medusa and her sisters Euryale and Stheno, after he was told of their whereabouts by their other sisters the Graeae. From a drop of blood from the head of Medusa was born the flying horse Pegasus.
Sort of "Romanesque " n'est-ce pas?
ReplyDeleteTrue, and I think he's holding an imaginary Medusa's head.
DeleteWhat a beautiful bush on her lower abdomen
ReplyDeleteNoteworthy.
DeleteHa, wonderful. A fine, lean physique. I've done this pose several times. Wooden sword and "head" in a small canvas bag..
ReplyDeleteInteresting detail. The "head" would change the appearance of the arm muscles somewhat.
