19th Century, Part 1 - Nudes

Today we visit the 19th Century with a two part series.  Part one is all nudes, starting 

with this 1850 American photo whose owner bought an expensive frame for it.  

Note the hand coloring on the model's cheeks and one less expected location.  

I suspect this was made for a gentleman with certain specific interests.
