John Manning
Although he's hard to recognize, this is John Manning. He was one of the notorious
Manning brothers who were in and out of jail so much that pictures
of the three of them together are considered rare.
I've read so much on all three from many people who either knew them or worked with them that an in depth article would have been compiled. One person said dangerous was putting it mildly! I would love to know more and what happened to them.
I agree. The reports are fragmentary, but never flattering. One of John's daughters is reported to have said that he fathered 13 children, most of whom hardly knew him, if at all.
