Some time ago I promised you all a series of Muybridge's motion studies actually in motion. So today we will look at ten GIFs, starting with this baseball player whom you might have seen before. The difference today is that we have two views of the same action side by side.

ReplyDeleteNothing sexual. He was apparently utterly hetero and by many accounts got away with murdering his wife's lover in a jealous rage.
DeleteA fine physique on this gentleman. Interesting stance and movements that you always see on ball players. And a happy one too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding! I also looked it up and it said that because it was Victorian times, they could never show men and women together; that he used nude males so that their muscles could be studied and he posed women, only in wholesome "domestic" settings fully clothed.
