These World War II American recruits are turning in their clothes prior to their exams.
I've done some research on this photo and have identified most of the soldiers.
(L-R) Glen P. (1921-1975) Arthur P. (1918-1981) Joe C.? (1918?-1943?) Carl L. (1921-1981) (Died of ALS at age 59) Joseph F. (1922-1971) Donald V. (1920- ca.1985/86?) Robert R. (1921-1979) (Died of heart attack at age 57)
Sadly none of these men lived long lives. Not one reached 70. War is brutal. RIP gentlemen.
