Australia, Part 2 - Art by James T. Gleeson
James Gleeson (1915-2008) was an Australian artist whose work I have featured before on the blog.
Today we look at five more of his pieces, starting with Standing Nude with Artifact from 1954.
Well, this is an excellent series of posts. I have a hard time picking a favorite among these visually striking paintings. Still, a nude man standing next to a cool-looking artifact does give me a little extra jolt.
