Trios among the Trees
Our theme for Monday is trios among the trees.
Somebody trimmed this photo with pinking shears. Odd, that.
I remember that some of my parents prints had that kind of edge to them on a few photos that were made back in the 50's and 60's. It was replaced by "boarder or borderless" prints of the 70's and 80's.
In the 50's early 60's one could order prints with that edging. I have several old family prints like that.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've seen those, too, but I think they had white margins between the images and the edges.
DeleteWas that strictly an artistic addition?
ReplyDeleteI can't think of any other purpose.

ReplyDeleteA delightful trio of sundials.
ReplyDeleteA fun, but not too accurate, way to tell time.
