It's been a disgracefully long time since I posted one of the full magazines so generously sent to me by Bill D. This time it will be all Ledermeister in Gallery 5, a Colt publication from 1971. Jim French describes Ledermeister, aka Paul Gerrior, as a sort of wild man who liked living rough in remote locations. By other accounts, however, Mr. Gerrior was a civilized gentleman who was friendly, cultured, and a recognized actor in the Bay Area theater scene.
Perhaps Mr. Gerrior was both. Wonderfull collection, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYes, I suppose he could have been both. Glad you enjoyed the set.
DeleteLove the way his bush is proudly displayed on the cover of a magazine.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant journalism!
Lol! I don't know if I'd call it journalism, but it surely is brilliant.
DeleteI knew someone who had met him years ago in California and they said he was a real gentleman and a class act.
ReplyDeleteWe only hear good things about this man, and that's a real rarity in the circles he moved in.
DeleteThrough marriages, he's my 7th cousin. This link can help the rest of you find out how close you are to him, and lead to much more information, including movie roles: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gerrior-70
